YEAR II: Composition
Armed with the experience from the Libretto-crafting stage, Year II will focus on musical composition. Librettists from Year I will be invited to submit their work for development by composers POP helps pair to each librettist's personal style (and the feedback from Performance Day). Composers working with other libretti will also be invited to progress their work. The session will also end with a revue of works in progress.
Year III is the production itself. One of the operas begun or developed during the previous two years will be selected for completion and the composer and librettist will be invited to witness and participate in the Prodigal Opera Theatre's full production of their work.
