Elliott James Encarnación
Artistic Director
A devotee of Wagner and Bach, Elliott welcomed his years of study and continued friendship with the late renown opera composer Conrad Susa, as well as a rather involved career as a professional singer in
numerous Bay Area choral institutions. Mr. Encarnación mentored and studied under opera guru J. Mark Stambaugh while at the Manhattan School of Music. He also studied orchestral conducting privately with one of Bernstein's former protégés, David Gilbert, while in New York as well as choral conducting with Robert Isaacs and Kristina Börger, and has premièred various choral works, concerti and operas in his burgeoning career.
